Our Values and Community Guidelines
Embracing mycelium’s circular, destructive-creative nature we grow on reparative justice in the mycelium industry, shifting from extractive practices to those based on reciprocity, equity, and respect, ensuring a more ethical and sustainable future.
This includes frameworks of Cultural Recognition and Reciprocity, which go beyond financial compensation to elevate indigenous voices, support their cultural practices, and build long-term, equitable partnerships.
Anti-Oppression: Actively grow inclusivity and accessibility while we challenge systems of oppression, including but not limited to: Palestine denialism, Israeli exceptionalism, ableism, racism, patriarchy, anti-blackness, anti-fatness, colonialism, xenophobia, capitalism, sexism, classism, ageism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, hegemony, heteronormativity, carceral ideology, subjugation, white supremacy.

✅Test tech beforehand – ensure your microphone, camera, and internet connection work before live meetings.
Conflict Resolution
🔹 Address issues privately first – If a disagreement arises, attempt to resolve it respectfully via direct message before escalating.
🔹 Contact the DMA at team@dev-myc-app.com if a situation remains unresolved, notify the DMA course facilitators for mediation. We are here to help and listen.
